1. Go to the location where you have installed the game. Go to RoadCraft > Root > Paks > client > Default.
2. Make a copy of the files (Default_other.pak and Default_other.pak.cache) to have backup copies.
3. Delete the files (Default_other.pak and Default_other.pak.cache) from the folder (Default).
4. Unzip the modified file.
5. Copy and paste the modified file (Default_other.pak) into the folder (Default.).
REMEMBER THAT WHEN THE GAME IS UPDATED, THE FILE MAY BE OVERWRITTEN AND THE MODIFICATION DELETED. WHEN THIS HAPPENS, WAIT FOR THE NEW FILE TO BE MODIFIED AND UPLOADED TO THIS POST.
You will still see raindrops hitting puddles, pavement, and vehicles, but the rain on the screen has disappeared.
IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS UNZIPPING FILES IN WINDOWS, INSTALL WinRAR/7-ZIP AND THE PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED.
Note: I have not tested this in multiplayer mode, so use it at your own risk. If you do, make sure that the other players have the same modified file.

INSTALL ONLY MODIFIED FILES /NO RAIN/IN THE “default_other.pak” FILE WHILE RETAINING THE OTHER MODIFICATIONS
This download is for those who have more modifications in the “default_other.pak” file. Simply replace these files and the other modifications will not be deleted.
Step 1: Download the mod and unzip it.
Step 2: Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common/or wherever you have the game installed\RoadCraft\root\paks\client\default.
Step 3: Create a backup copy of “default_other.pak” and “default_other.pak.cache”.
Step 4: Delete “default_other.pak.cache” from the \default folder.
Step 5: Open the “default_other.pak” file with WinRAR/7zip, open the folders presets/data/rain_presets/, and replace the files (heavy_rain.s3dprs and medium_rain.s3dprs).
VERY IMPORTANT STEP 4
Delete “default_other.pak.cache” from the \default folder. If you do not delete the cache file, the game will crash when you start it.
