Capcom has announced significant changes to Monster Hunter Wilds quests in an effort to crack down on cheaters and maintain a fair experience for honest players.
According to an official update from the Monster Hunter Wilds X (formerly Twitter) account, future Challenge Quests and Free Challenge Quests will no longer require players to achieve a high ranking on the leaderboard to receive rewards. This update aims to make in-game challenges more accessible and balanced for all players.
In addition, Capcom is now actively reviewing Arena Quest and Challenge Quest clear times for any signs of irregularities, exploits, or glitches. The company has stated that it will take action against any accounts found using unfair methods. Any times deemed “clearly unnatural” will be excluded, and bans may be issued for those caught cheating.
These measures are part of Capcom’s ongoing commitment to preserving the integrity of Monster Hunter Wilds gameplay and ensuring that rewards are earned through genuine effort and skill.
