What is Modular Armor Framework ?
Modular Armor Framework a tool that opens up a whole new world of armor customization ! From a simple, intuitive, in-game interface, choose which pieces of armor you’d like to see or hide. Changes are visible in real time, directly on your character. Once saved, your preferences are applied to customized armor as soon as it is equipped.
Main features
Customize your armor, detail by detail ! You like the Balahara armor but cannot stand shoulders ? Then remove them ! Or maybe you just want to remove one of them to give you a unique style ? You can do it too !
Auto-applied preferences ! Enjoy hassle-free armor customization ! Once you’ve saved your preferences, they’ll be applied automatically as soon as you log in.
Minimal impact on performance ! The mod intelligently applies your preferences by detecting when you change armor. No need to check every frame, so you can keep your precious fps ! What’s more, this mod is capable of handling all armor customizations: there’s no need to clone the script for each armor.
How to use ?
The mod is very simple to use. Once installed and in play, open the REFramework menu (press the Insert key if you’ve closed the menu). In the “Script Generated UI” section, you should see a “Modular Armor Framework” button. Clicking it opens the mod configuration window.
From there, it’s even simpler ! You’ll see a list of supported armors. For each armor you’ll find all the customization options available. Have fun checking/unchecking the options and observe the changes on your character !
Once you’ve found the customization set you like, click on the “Save” button at the very top of the window. This will save your preferences, and the mod will now apply them automatically whenever you don one of your modified armors.
About modular armors
This mod is useless on its own. You’ll need to install a modified version of the armor to take advantage of all this customization. Not all armors are magically compatible, so some modification is required. That said, these modifications can potentially be applied to any armor, including fully custom armor produced by the community.
Please also note that armor may only be compatible with one of these four variants (M-M, M-F, F-F, F-M).
