Equipment Management in Schedule 1
To get started in Schedule 1, you’ll need to purchase essential equipment. However, as your operation evolves, much of it becomes outdated and will require upgrades. Some items that were helpful early on may eventually become useless. When this happens, your only options are to either store the gear or get rid of it. Here’s how to handle both:
Getting Rid of Equipment in Schedule 1
Running low on space and want to clear out some old gear? You can throw it away. First, hit the Tab key to open your Phone Menu. Once it’s open, you’ll notice a small red box pop up in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
To discard items, simply drag them into that red box. You can move a full stack by clicking and dragging with the Left Mouse Button, or toss individual items using the Right Mouse Button.
As soon as an item hits the discard box, a progress line will circle the box—this is your window to cancel the action. If you change your mind, you have 5 seconds to pull the item back out before it’s gone forever.
Keep in mind: once something is discarded, it’s permanently deleted. If you later need it again, you’ll have to repurchase it.
Storing Items Instead
Don’t want to lose your gear, but don’t want it cluttering your space either? Storage is the way to go. You can store pretty much anything—yes, even shelves on top of other shelves. That means you could potentially stash up to 80 shelves on a single larger shelf.
When large objects are placed in storage, they automatically convert into tidy little boxes. It’s a clean and practical option—especially if you have the extra space and don’t want to throw anything away.
So, if you’ve moved on from the motel room or upgraded from the tiny space above Mrs. Ming’s, consider repurposing those areas as your personal storage hubs. Perfect for holding on to items you may need later!
